Join Host, Teresa Maron, for Big Heart, Huge Mission with guest Kisty Marie.
Our goal for the podcast today is to share the story of a non-profit, Sparrow’s Voice, that’s working hard to create programs and find sponsors for young adults and kids in South Africa, and the USA. Kisty Marie’s work is sponsored by Louise Hay.
Our special guest Kisty Marie, Founder of Sparrows Voice, tells us the inspiring story of how she discovered her work of teaching the principles of heart-centered leadership and holistic healing to low-income youth. After conquering an addiction, and surviving a near-death experience, her passion was turned into a mission by an orphan named Nonny. She taught her about purpose, connection, and the true meaning of life.
What are we doing?
Sparrow’s Voice offers kids an opportunity to shine – regardless of life circumstances, many times working with HIV orphans. We are empowering kids and families alike through workshops, individual training and continuous support from our awesome team. This is where you come in. We can’t do this without you!
If you could see the absolute joy in a child’s face when they find out they have a sponsor and can attend a leadership workshop – you would be deeply affected. So many kids get turned away and it is just one more thing they cannot participate in. WE can CHANGE this! Let’s get as many kids as possible involved in Leadership/Empowerment workshops! Sparrows Voice is going into shack towns, orphanages and organizations and we are offering kids an opportunity to see the world through a new lens.
It only costs $50 to sponsor one child in South Africa. This provides a young adult or teen a five day Leadership/Skill Building/Empowerment workshop. We are creating leaders in a place that needs it the most. This is a powerful workshop that packs a lifetime of learning into 4-5 days.
Thank you for working with us. Thank you for donating. Thank you for giving our kids a chance. They deserve it!
